As beautiful as child birth can be, it can sometimes be traumatic for the newborn and also the mum. Forceps and vacuum suction can often alter the shape of the newborns’ head and cause restrictions in their cranium. Natural birth allows for the stimulation and shaping of the cranium. Newborns can sometimes get stuck in the birth canal and as a result have a fractured collar bone or fracture their mother’s tailbone. Newborns are cared for with very gentle and soft adjustments.
